ZeroMenial (zeromenial.com) is operated by Eleftherios Vafeiadis, an individual sole proprietor based in Nicosia, Cyprus 1048 (“ZeroMenial,” “we,” “us”).

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Eleftherios Vafeiadis is the Data Controller for personal data processed through this website. Questions or data-related requests can be sent directly to support@zeromenial.com.

ZeroMenial is built to require as little of your personal data as possible. What we process depends on how you interact with our platform:

• Using the Free Tools: Our tools run locally in your web browser. Text, files, or other inputs you paste or upload are processed directly on your device and are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers.
• Local Usage Data:To enforce the free tier’s limit of 12 tool executions per rolling 24-hour period and remember your recently used tools, we store a small amount of metadata (your plan tier, a daily execution counter, and a list of recently visited tool pages) in your browser’s localStorage. This data remains entirely on your device and is not sent to our servers.
• Account & Billing Data: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect your name and email address. This data is transferred to our payment processor, Stripe, to manage your subscription.
• Support Chat: If you interact with our in-app support widget, the messages you type are sent to our artificial intelligence provider, Anthropic, to generate a helpful response.
• Standard Server Logs: For security and operational integrity, our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically logs standard network request data, including your IP address, browser type, and request timestamps.
• Anonymous Traffic Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall site traffic. It does not use cookies or any persistent identifier — visits are recorded only as anonymized, aggregated data (e.g. page views, approximate location, device and browser type) that is automatically discarded after 24 hours and cannot be tied back to you individually.
• Cookies: ZeroMenial does not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.

Under GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases to handle your data:

• Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To process your name, email, and subscription status to provide and bill your Pro or Business plan.
• Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): To secure, monitor, and maintain the operational stability of our website infrastructure (e.g., server logs, rate limiting, abuse prevention).
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): When you choose to send a message via our support chat, you consent to that text being processed to generate an AI reply.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. To provide our service, we share limited, necessary data with the following GDPR-compliant processors under active Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) incorporating EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs):

• Stripe, Inc. & Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd: Processes billing, invoicing, and payment execution. Stripe acts as an independent controller for transaction security and regulatory compliance.
• Anthropic, PBC: Processes support chat inputs solely to generate customer service responses.
• Vercel, Inc.: Securely hosts our application and processes standard server logs.

Where these services transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers are strictly protected by standard contractual safeguards approved by the European Commission.

• Local Browser Storage:Your plan tier, usage counters, and recent tools remain in your browser until you manually clear your browser’s cache/storage.
• Billing Records: Retained by Stripe for as long as your subscription is active, and subsequently archived as mandated by applicable tax and accounting regulations.
• Support Messages: Inputs sent to our support widget are processed in real-time to resolve your inquiry and are not permanently logged or compiled into long-term user profiles.

If you are located in the EEA, you hold the following statutory rights:

• Right to Access, Correct, or Erase your personal data.
• Right to Restrict or Object to our processing.
• Right to Data Portability.
• Right to Withdraw Consent at any time for consent-based processing.

ZeroMenial is not intended for or directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
